Wednesdays Sweetie

Galveston anyone? Every Wednesday evening straight from work I will be heading to Galveston Island to spend a few glorious hours with my son. Next week we'll be bowling, this past Wednesday it was Chili's and putt-putt. I parked my car at his house and he drove me around in his new (to him) 1969 Ford Bronco. It was nice.

James

We had a friend of ours commit suicide, it's a very sad time for his family and friends. They say three times the charm and it was his third time. No one knew he was having problems, he didn't share. I wonder if he had would it have made a difference.

He will be missed.

Memorial on Saturday.

Movie quote

"We're dreamfasting. You and I."

Movie Quote of the day

"Sunday, finally Sunday. In my mind the best day of the week. Why is that, Dudley?"

What movie did this come from? Can you guess?

Can you Belive it?

I had the best United States Postal experience ever yesterday. I'm guessing not too many people are needing to go to the post office any more, because it was not crowded at all. I walked right up and was immediately helped. The postal worker was extremely helpful and pleasant. It was absolutely wonderful.

Things that are going on:

My son's father bought him a 1967 Ford Bronco, after we told him that we were going to by him a 1986 BMW (two door). We're still going to buy the car. It's priced great and it runs great and it's a steal. We may keep it as a back up for ourselves, or as a backup for him if anything should happen to the Bronco or if he find it guzzles too much gas.

My son's father has his second baby . . . a girl . . . My son is 16.

My sister's baby is scheduled to be ripped out of that womb on September 19th. YES

My Mom is scheduled to be in town this week, some time, and hasn't called me to let me know that she is planning on spending the night or maybe she isn't staying with me. Hummmm.

I love my sweetie.

Hate my job at the moment.

People say I should work in a morgue - death doesn't bother me when their older - but children and young adults would. . . would tear my heart out. Definitely would.
