Current Reading

I tried to watch the movie a long time ago and couldn't. I had to stop watching. It was very difficult. The book is easier to take.

I do not recommend this book

This book lasted far longer than it should have and the ending was very predictable. I hated it while I was reading it, but because I had started I had to finish. The beginning got you hooked, but then yuck. I think the author got paid by the page.

I cried like a baby. I think I'll send this to my sister as the dog in here reminds me of their Dingo.

She won't think it's funny to her. You can't say anything bad about their big old yellow lab.

Our 4Th

Fourth of July was spent at our house this year. I made fired chicken, potato salad, beans, deviled eggs (for Kevin), walking taco drip (for Bryan) and a blue berry pie. Geno made homemade ice cream. We also got a watermelon but forgot about it - poor forgotten watermelon. Bryan brought over homemade beer, which was very tasty and a ton of explosives. Todd, Terri, Eric, Stephanie, Kevin and Jesse cam over. Charles was being a couch potato and would come, Colleen had to work as Walmart made her take a night shift and Eric was at Lake Livingston. We all stayed up to about 1am playing Mexican Freight Train after the fire works were done. Is was a fun evening. Thank goodness I had both Saturday and Sunday to recover.
